DW Foamies 28" Yak Junior

Very happy with my DW Foamies 28" Yak Junior; I've been flying it in the backyard a lot. Also fun indoors in the gym. It's similar to the 32" Hobby Lobby Yak 55 (which I also have and quite like), but smaller and lighter (made from 3mm depron; the HL Yak is 6mm depron). Very responsive; can fly slow; hovers well; lots of elevator and rudder authority; roll rate is pretty good (a bit slower than the Hobby Lobby Yak). Here is my setup:

Elevator and rudder servos: HXT500 5g / .8kg / 10sec Micro Servo
Aileron servo: JR S185 6 Gram Servo (JRPS185)
Receiver: HDX 6CH Digital Single Conversion DSP HDS610-72
Antenna: Lightenna 72 Micro Receiver Antenna for Parkflyers EF001
Motor: Turnigy 2204-14T 19g Outrunner TR2204-14T
Speed Control: TowerPro 9g w12A TP_w12A
Prop: GWS 7 x 3.5 Direct Drive EP-7035
Battery: Rhino 360mAh 3S 11.1v 20C Lipoly R360-20-3

The pull-pull setups on the elevator and rudder work well. I did mine a little different from the directions in that, on the servo end, I attached the threads to pieces of 0.050" carbon-fiber rod (by wrapping and gluing with CA), and used Dubro Mini E/Z Connectors to attach the rods to the servo horns. This makes the position and tension readily adjustable, which I really like. The distance from the connector to the center hole on the horn is 15mm for rudder and 18mm for elevator. See the gallery link below for pictures of this setup.

At some point I want to try out the 18-11 2000kv Micro Brushless Outrunner (10g) motor as a lighter option.
